the environment at camp bliss is "glamping" at its finest and includes many comforts and amenities.
it is also an outdoor setting that is affected by the rhythms of nature, often without warning. we invite you to dress in clothing that you find restful which allows you to sit comfortably in your body.
please read & submit our shared agreements for hosts & guests at camp bliss prior to arrival.
when you visit camp bliss, you'll find a sanctuary prepared for you to participate as you choose in a meaningful, intentional act of compassion within yourself and within community. we have carefully curated spaces and experiences which help to build a shared conduit of compassion.
within yourself:
an individual visit to camp bliss is among our most popular offerings in compassion practice. please plan to spend approximately 2.75 hours with us when you visit. your first visit will also include an additional 30 minute orientation welcome.
an individual visit includes:
first, a half hour of welcoming space to give you opportunity to set your intention of compassion, enjoy a complimentary soothing beverage & seasonal snack as well as time to slow down with a calming foot soak made with herbs & other restorative flora & fauna grown here at camp.
next, an uninterrupted, private hour to engage in radical self care, including but not limited to: opportunities to create expressively through art or journaling, a contemplative walk in nature, reading, self guided stretching, a tranquil nap & more. *coming soon: sea salt soaking tub
once you have enjoyed this time of restoration, erin will spend an hour alongside you in personalized, energetically matched compassion practice together. this might include guided meditation and other mindfulness exercises as you desire and will always include skilled, open hearted & intentional listening to any area you might like to explore within your thoughts. at your invitation, erin may also offer guiding questions or additional healing prompts for your journey. most times of practice together also may include participation by Juniper, the camp dog and canine compassion expert, who is a certified therapy dog and can both greatly enrich and enliven our time together with her practice of presence, touch therapy, and gentle humor.
finally, you and erin will spend a last quarter hour to bring your time to a purposeful end by mutually assessing goals and tools which may increase your practice of compassion for self and others as you depart to rejoin your daily rhythm and responsibilities.
anything that you choose to create while at camp bliss belongs solely to you for your use as desired and any thoughts you choose to share while in practice with erin will be confidential.
cost: we value our time for an individual visit at (tbd), at least ten percent of which goes toward offsetting some of this expense for those who do not have access to funds to pay the full amount. if you are unable to pay in full, please feel free to discuss an alternative arrangement with erin well in advance of your visit. if you are able to afford more than (tbd), you are invited to give additional funds which would apply 100% to make visits available to those who may not have access to needed funds.
